Our 
Story

What began as a response to community need has grown into something far more intentional — a creative enterprise built at the intersection of neurodivergent identity, craft bartending, and authentic storytelling.

AFC & Co. first launched in 2019 as a rideshare service in Northern New Hampshire, stepping in to address critical transportation gaps during the COVID-19 pandemic. When transit options reopened and the community's needs shifted, the rideshare chapter concluded — but the spirit behind AFC & Co. endured.

​

In Summer 2023, the brand was reborn with renewed purpose. The launch of the Besties, Bikes & Brews Podcast and the earliest drafts of The Neurodivergent Bartender marked a turning point: AFC & Co. evolved from a service provider into a fully realized creative platform. What emerged was something far more meaningful — a space where neurodivergent perspectives, mixology artistry, and genuine storytelling converge without apology.

Today, AFC & Co. is a multifaceted creative brand anchored by The Neurodivergent Bartender series — a growing collection of cocktail books, narratives, and experiences that celebrate neurodiversity through the lens of craft bartending. We've built a niche where mixology meets advocacy, where every recipe carries a story, and where being different isn't just accepted — it's the whole point.

Through original cocktail creations, engaging content, and a commitment to authenticity, AFC & Co. has cultivated a community that values creativity, inclusivity, and the art of meaningful connection. Our work resonates with bartenders, cocktail enthusiasts, and neurodivergent individuals seeking representation in places they didn't expect to find it.
